Sydney
Sydney is my favorite city in the world. It has everything I could possibly want – beautiful beaches, downtown set on a picture-perfect harbor, fun-loving people and beer that doesn’t give me a hangover. I’m in love with the city, the people, and all Australia has to offer.
Beach Huts
Outside of Melbourne, Australia is a small town called Brighton Beach. One of the things it is known for is it’s brightly colored huts lining the beach. Given my love for bright colors and the beach, my day spent in Brighton easily inspired this painting.
Aussie Lifeguard
Bondi Beach – Sydney, Australia. My friend and I were catching some rays on Bondi Beach when a beautiful, buff lifeguard stopped right in front of us. He set down his surfboard, cupped his hands over his eyes and peered out into the ocean. He was wearing a speedo with “Bondi” written across his butt and the typical red and yellow beenie lifeguard hat. After soaking in the scenery, we snapped a photo which became the inspiration for this painting.
SAMOA
Dancing to the Sea
Polynesian women perform beautiful soft, sensual dances. In Samoa, their elegance is accentuated by the soft movements and gentle hand gestures of the dances. Their curved bodies sway back and forth like the waves washing up and down the beach.

Samoa Hut
Samoa is a tropical paradise in the South Pacific. The traditional huts are called “fales” and are built without walls. They are brightly painted different colors and stand out against the lush green surroundings. Three of the most pleasurable days of my life were spent in a fale on the beach, sleeping to the sounds of the waves and the warm sea breezes.

This painting brings together all the amazing things about Samoa. The tropical beauty of the women. The stunning waterfalls. The open-air, colorful huts right on the beach. Samoa truly is a tropical paradise.
